Introducing... Laolu Ogun!!
A fresh new face and sound to the Afrobeat industry! Laolu is a Nigerian Afropop artist and graduate from Loughborough University (Leciester, England) studying Civil Engineering and is currently doing his Masters program in Global Management.
Laolu Ogun started his music career back in High School where he was heavily affiliated with The Bonafide Crew. Influenced by music - Kanye West being his greatest idol, Laolu looks up to other artists such as D'Banj, 2Face, JayZ and the great Fela Kuti.
In Summer 2012, Laolu got the opportunity to create music in the studio while with The Bonafide Crew and realized his passion for music was much greater than just listening to it.
Now in the new year of 2013, Laolu hits the scene with his first official single 'Felele' (which basically talks about the issues a young man faces dealing with the opposite sex). Singing in his mother tongue - Yoruba in the song, compliments the song very well. The song was produced by JB who also features on the track and who is also of The Bonafide Crew.
JB has also produced the current singles like 'Emere', 'Atide' and 'We Dey Ball'. Look out for more music coming from The Bonafide Crew throughout the year.
