New Video: Kendrick Lamar - Poetic Justice ft. Drake

"If I told you that a flower bloomed in a dark room would you trust it?!"

Kendrick Lamar's album "good kid, m.A.A.d city" is definitely one of my favourite albums right now. Kendrick really put his heart into this album as it was his first studio album, gkmc is jampacked with hits from beginning to end like Swimming Pools (Drank), Money Trees, Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, Poetic Justice and more.

"Poetic Justice" is the second official single off the album which Kendrick Lamar has released and now released a video to it featuring rapper - Drake.

Kendrick Lamar took samples out of Janet Jackson's single "Anytime, Anyplace" song which came out in the same year of the movie that she starred in alongside the late - Tupac, called Poetic Justice. The video was shot in the streets of Compton, Los Angeles.

Kendrick Lamar told MTV News in December that "this is a young boy that looked up to you for years. Please, yeah, video, Janet Jackson ‘Poetic Justice.’ It’ll only be right," and he's right, it would have only been right for Janet Jackson to have made a cameo appearance in the video. Damn shame she never, I do really like this video... Kendrick Lamar stays winning in my books!
