It's been a long time since I've heard from Terri Walker and Nicole Wray. Both of these two amazing singers, one hailing from London and the other hailing from Portsmouth, Virginia are both known for great songs individually. Walker made her mark in the early 00's with her hit single 'Guess You Didn't Love Me' featuring Mos Def, whilst Wray who was Missy Elliott's protege made her debut in '98 with her single 'Make It Hot'.
Now both artists have joined forces to make this astonishing group they call 'Lady'. The group was formed in December 2012 and they are already making major movements - currently being signed to Trust and Soul Records and they have just released their self-titled album 'Lady' earlier this month.
Their music just has this old school flavour to it which I love, it's very Motown/soulful. I look forward to hearing more from them and seeing them perform in the near future.
It feels so good just to hear pure Soul and R&B music coming from Lady, staying true to their roots they've premiered their debut video 'Get Ready' which was produced by New York duo Truth and Soul.
