Be ni ooo Wizkid!
Can we say legendary collaboration? Wizkid features the late Fela Kuti's first son - Femi Kuti on his brand new single 'Jaiye Jaiye' and this is the collaboration that I've been waiting for! And it was worth the wait!
This song is everything and much different from what we normally hear from Wizkid, but it is very homegrown and has Fela Kuti written all over it - from the beginning to the end.
'Jaiye Jaiye' which was produced by Sarz brings together Femi Kuti's saxophones, trumpets, as well as other instruments - the drums, snares to make this song a classic. This is music to my ears!
Wiz will release his sophomore album as a follow-up to his 2011 'Superstar' album and will feature this brand new song 'Jaiye Jaiye'. The album which is still yet to be titled will be released on June 12 via EME Records and Star Boy Records.
