London born artists and producer Tom Bem has unveiled the visual for his latest offering ‘Captain’ taken from his forthcoming EP ‘Shallows’ set for release on March 1st. Following on from his debut EP 'Pass It On' ‘Captain’ mixes Tom’s soulful vocals with electronic dub and classical strings and accompanied by his convicting vocals making it his most honest and vulnerable work to date.
Featuring co production from classical composer Dexter Britain, ‘Captain’ marries an eclectic array of electronic sounds with intense and thought provoking song writing which have been likened to Jamie XX, The Weeknd and Jai Paul.
Since ‘Pass it On’ The singer, songwriter, producer has had a whirlwind year and has reached some significant milestones in his career. Tom made his radio debut on BBC introducing, as well as performing around the UK appearing on line-ups alongside Tinchy Stryder, Amelia Lily and the Loveable Rouges.
Already being supported by BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and Westside FM to name a few Tom’s forthcoming EP ‘Shallows’ is available for free from www.tombem.co.uk as of March 1st 2014.
