In the season of award shows and album releases, Nicki Minaj is doing them both, and is gearing up for the release of highly anticipated third album ‘The Pinkprint’. Originally scheduled to hit the shelves on November 24, the rapper has now pushed back the release date to December 15.
Nicki who is set to host the MTV EMA's in Scotland next week recently released the third single off ‘The Pinkprint’ entitled ‘Only’ and features label mates - Drake and Lil Wayne, as well as singer Chris Brown on the hook. Her two previously released singles ‘Pills n Potions’ and ‘Anaconda’ received great views from fans and critics and even saw ‘Pills n Potions’ go Gold, whilst ‘Anaconda’ went platinum by selling over 1 million records in the States.
Last night, Nicki Minaj took to her instagram page to unveil the deluxe album cover of ‘The Pinkprint’ by writing: "This is actually the #Deluxe cover. I'll post the standard cover at a later date. #ThePinkprintAlbumCover thank u to the Kanye West team".
Giving us less on the deluxe cover (above) rather than her usual over the top, we can only wonder what the standard album cover will look like.
Listen to her new single ‘Only’ below and anticipate her new album ‘The Pinkprint’ out December 15.
