The ‘Best. Achieving. Don’, or Mista Silva as some of us know him as recently bagged an Urban Music Award for ‘Best African Act’ - adding another well-deserved award to his cabinet.
Kicking off 2015 with a bang, Silva has released the visuals to his punchy Jamaican dancehall-inspired single ‘B.A.D’ (Best. Achieving. Don) interlaced with the uplifting vibes of traditional Ghanaian music.
Set to be released via FIID on April 5, Silva and producers Team Salut team up to create an infectious new song - set to take the radio stations and club dance floors ablaze, one of Mista Silva's hottest songs yet! Along with the release of ‘B.A.D’, Mista Silva has announced his headline show and ‘Let It Off’ EP launch at Birthdays in Dalston, all to take place on the 6th April, 2015.
Mista Silva will see support from the Afro B, Selecta Aff, Koder, Jaij Hollands, Mad J and Jaye Parson, alongside his live band Empire Sounds, DJ P Montana, who will be the DJ on the night and DJ Funkz who is the host for the show.
The MOBO Awards nominee continues to fly the flag for a progressive Africa and the African diaspora with the release of the gritty Kojey Radical-directed visuals.
Mista Silva has held it down for the Afrobeats scene in both the UK and back in Africa, and is definitely a pillar in the ever-growing UK Afrobeats scene, so you know his show is going to be a good one, and not to be missed either!
