Already being co-signed by MTV, Trevor Nelson, SBTV and It's Just Mobolaji, 23-year-old South London artist Tanika is one of the many newest rising stars in the city.
Tanika has her own style and sound that she has become a household name in the UK. Her new EP "Thoughts of Love" is hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth and is available for free download.
The 6-track-EP features Sneakbo, DVS and New York's Zebra Katz - who features on the lead track "Thoughts of Love" as well as in the new video - which can be seen below.
This year has already catapulted Tanika in the limelight as she performed a sensational cover of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” in the 1xtra Live Lounge with Naughty Boy to promote his #1 single “La La La”. Following her incredible cover with Naughty Boy, Tanika teamed up with renowned UK rapper, DVS with their take on Adele’s ‘Hometown Glory’ for SBTV.
