Last week Wednesday I was lucky enough to attend MoeLogo's EP listening party. A few other media publications, DJs, ARs, PRs and the whole shibang all came together under one roof to hear what MoeLogo has been working on in the studio for a while now - and trust me, you will not be disappointed.
MoeLogo has come a long way since his song ‘She's My Indomie’. His debut EP ‘Moe Is My Name, Music Is My Logo’, was released at 12 midnight earlier on today and is the talk of the town. The EP features Fem Fel, Mista Silva, Tribal Magz, Dee Moneey, Fuse ODG, DRB LasGidi and Stylo G all on the 8-track-project.
‘Moe Is My Name, Music Is My Logo’ opens up with a track titled ‘Mo Ti Gbede’, which simply means "I have bought it here" or "It has arrived", and was produced by ColdKeyz. MoeLogo calls on UK rapper - Fem Fel for a guest appearance on the song.
The EP includes MoeLogo's songs ‘Pangolo’ (both the original and the remix), ‘Mary J’, and his newest one ‘What They Want’ featuring Fuse ODG, including never before heard tracks ‘Mo Ti Gbede’, ‘Dem Girls’, ‘Lemme Show You’ and the remix to ‘Mary J’ featuring UK dancehall artist Stylo G.
