Haile, Akelle and Louis who make up the group WSTRN saw major success in 2015 with the release of their debut single ‘In2’.
The hit single, released through Atlantic Records in November, peaked at #4 on the UK charts, whilst sitting nice and high at #1 on the UK R&B charts.
With the official ‘In2’ remix already out featuring Wretch 32, Chip and Geko. WSTRN's US based label mate and Grammy nominated artist, Kehlani has also taken a liken to the song and blessed us with her remix to the track over the weekend.
Kehlani's self-released mixtape ‘You Should Be Here’ reached #5 on the US R&B charts, which also landed her a 2016 Grammy nod for ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’.
Rolling Stone featured Kehlani on their "10 New Artists You Need to Know" April 2015 edition, alongside Jidenna. Whilst Forbes ‘30 Under 30 2016’ featured her on the music list.
WSTRN, the West London hailing trio came fifth on BBC's Sound of 2016 and have been cosigned by some of UK's greats; Wiley, Lily Allen, Wretch 32 and Rita Ora.
2015 was a great year for both WSTRN and Kehlani, but 2016 is already proving itself to be an even better year for them, and we're only on the 11th day of the new year.
