The boys took it to central London to shoot the music video where they shut things down at a recent takeover at the renowned club - Cokobar. Rising AfroPop/R&B star Moelogo blesses the hook of the catchy track, that was premiered by Hip TV and Cool FM in Nigeria.

Made up of rapper/actor Havoc, who will recognize from his cameo appearance in the music video for Davido's ‘Skelewu’, and Esdee, who grew to prominence supporting Wizkid on his 2012 UK tour, fast-rising duo YFS are definitely ones to watch this year, with relevant co-signs coming from the likes of Iyanya, Ice Prince and Skales just to name a few.

New Video: Beyoncé - Partition

Fresh off the release of ‘XO’, Beyoncé - Mrs Carter if you're nasty, puts on a burlesque-type performance for her husband Jay-Z in her new video to ‘Partition’.

The song which is off her fifth self-titled studio album is the third single release from Beyoncé.

In her docu-series based on her album to explain songs furthermore, Beyoncé spoke on the video for ‘Partition’ explaining the concept and reasoning for it:

"The day that I got engaged was my husbands' birthday and I took him to crazy horse and I remember thinking 'damn these girls are fly'. I just thought it was the ultimate sexy show that I've ever seen. And I was like 'I wish I was up there, I wish I could perform that for my man.' So that's what I did, for the video".

And that's what did, and boy oh boy she did that! Watch the video to ‘Partition’, explicit content!

New Music: Rich Quick - May I, Say I

New Jersey hailing artist Rich Quick is a newcomer to this blog, and to a few ears.

In April of 2012 Rich Quick released ‘I'm With The DJ’, a mixtape hosted by DJ NoPhrillz and Benja Styles gained an amazing amount of feedback from listeners and fans of the artist. Rich Quick switched it up a bit, and not just delivered any mixtape - but delivered a masterpiece with it - the first 500 physical copies of the mixtape included 1 of 5 limited edition hand drawn hip-hop themed art cards. Rich included the art cards as a testament to hip-hop's influence on art and pop culture.

Whilst touring promoting ‘I'm With The DJ’, Rich was fortunate enough to meet Stress the White Boy who is part of a powerhouse production duo alongside Chuck Treece, better referred to as STREECE™, who began working with Rich on an EP titled ‘Sad Songz’ from Ben Frank Recordings - which debuted Top 40 on the iTunes hip hop album charts, the day of it's release.

Now in 2014, Rich Quick comes bearing gifts the first of which is ‘May I, Say I’ - a song that one can easily vibe to, and just think about the lyrics of what's being said by the New Jersey rapper. Produced by STANKFOOT, ‘May I, Say I’ shows off Rich Quick's lyrical ability to rap over any beat, and does the job on this chilled out number. where he gives us a poetic flow.

‘May I, Say I’ is assured to have your mouse over the repeat button, as Rich Quick's poetic flow on the track will have you mesmerized in fascination of how he manages to collectively put together such song.

Fans of Rich Quick have labelled it as "one of his best songs yet", listen below and find out why..

Rudimental Collaborate With Beats by Dr. Dre on The New Beat by Beat Series

Beat by Beat is a new innovatice and interactive series that will go behind the beat and demonstrate how some of the world's biggest artists create the tracks that made them famous.

To launch their new Beat by Beat series, Beats by Dr. Dre have collaborated with Rudimental, the chart-topping UK drum'n'bass band and winners of Best British Single at last weeks Brits.

The boys of Rudimental, who are based in London and are originally from Hackney, have been making nothing but sweet music since they got together to form this unstoppable band. In the first Beat by Beat film - we see Piers, Kesi, Amir and DJ Locksmith all in the studio giving us an exclusive of how they make their famous beats, telling the story of how Rudimental find inspiration for their tracks, how they are then produced and how they work together to create the Rudimental sound.

Off their ‘Home’ album, Rudimental give us an insight as to how they came up with their new single ‘Powerless’ - their seventh single off their debut album, which was released on Sunday (February 23). ‘Powerless’ is such an emotional song, probably the most emotional song on the album, with 20-year-old Becky Hill ex-The Voice UK contestant singing on the hook. Becky Hill's immensely strong vocals takeover your whole system, wishing you having that you could sing like her.

Piers, Kesi, Amir and DJ Locksmith all bring their creativity together to create such a spine-chilling song that will blow your mind, once you press play.

Beat by Beat detils the many elements that make up a Rudimental track via six unique videos that can be played and mixed simultaneously via a custom YouTube player - allowing viewers to control the YouTube page as if it was a mixing desk - a YouTube first.

And of course I've tested it out, it was so exciting, had me feeling like a kid in the candy store - I was just in awe of it all. This is amazing - it brings an excitiment! Having anyone feel like they're a producer or a hit beat maker!

New Music: WondaBoy - On Me

We fell in love with Wondaboy fairly under a year ago when he discarded his debut single ‘Before Then’ featuring Ghanaian rapper - Sarkodie.

WondaBoy hasn't released a track to top that one, but with the loyal fan base he has - whatever he does release automatically becomes a hit in their eyes.

Stepping into 2014 with a bang WondaBoy unveil his latest material ‘One Me’, an infectious club banger laced with a hip-hop and R&B groove to it. ‘One Me’ was reportedly created less than 24 hours, after WondaBoy's most recent trip to the gold coast - Ghana, where he lined up with produced - Hype Lyrix of 3D Pyramid Records.

‘One Me’ is a song to get the bottles flowing and the party started. Has WondaBoy got another hit on his hands with this one?

Pharrell Williams Announces New Album - ‘G I R L’ + Album Cover, Tracklisting and Release Date

Man of the moment - Pharrell Williams is not letting that big ol' Vivienne Westwood hat block his shine, and stop his creative juices from flowing. Pharrell has announced his first album in eight years ‘G I R L’, making it his second solo album.

Interesting to say the least, and we can't be mad at that. Pharrell's forthcoming album came as a surprise to many, as we didn't see it coming. The album will feature his Oscar nominated and recently turned platinum single ‘Happy’ as well as some exclusives and never before heard tracks.

Lily McKenzie and Giggs drop off this unexpected collaboration right into our laps, one that we inevitably didn't see coming.

The lead single ‘Support Machine’ bares the same name as her debut EP is a heavily influenced piano number, with a modest amount of garage and electronic addition to the song.

Giggs' unique tone brings a hollow and airy feel to the song, complimenting McKenzie's edgy but soulful vocals; lifting the songs ambiance.

Lily McKenzie's first single released from the EP ‘Where I Belong’ is available now for free download alongside a Funkystepz remix. Her debut EP ‘Support Machine’ is released 30 March 2014.

Sasha Keable and Angel Haze Perform ‘Battle Cry’ Exclusive A64 for SBTV

"I always think it's interesting to catch what's going on in like the new like underground music scene, and I remember Sasha; immediately I looked her up. Her voice is incredible, her own stuff is incredible. And I just thought it'll be like amazing to have her feature on you know, this track with me!" - Angel Haze

The words seen above are the words we hear in the opening of this exclusive A64, that Angel Haze uses to describe the undeniable talent of South London based singer - Sasha Keable.

Female vocalist of the moment, Sasha Keable, is no stranger to high profile collaborations, having worked with the likes of Disclosure in the past. This time, she's hooked up with none other than Angel Haze, the Michigan rapper with some serious attitude and undeniable talent. The result: a sumptuous explosion of soulful R&B and honest hear-felt rap lyricism.

As Sasha Keable's vocals are growing from strength to strength, so is her fan base and peoples love for her. Keeping it no secret - Angel Haze is a fan of Sasha Keable, and thought no better person than Sasha to feature on her single ‘Battle Cry’, for this exclusive A64 - which was brought together by SBTV, for SBTV.

Keable who has a signed management deal to Disturbing London, recently inked an impressive 5-album deal with Universal Music subsidiary, Polydor.

[Review]: Shane Chubbz - Listening Party + ‘Chubbziano’ EP

This post comes a couple days late (forgive me) so therefore, I promise to TRY and keep this review short and sweet!

On Sunday, 16 February, 2014 my good friend Oyinkan invited me down to an event at the Soho Sanctum Hotel and who was I to refuse. That night was the first night that I had heard of the name Shane Chubbz and it surely weren't the last, read about my experience at his private ‘Chubbziano’ EP listening party.

Oyinkan and I entered the hotel at about 8.20pm, and were handed with a guest pass - attached to the guest pass was a USB stick - which had the ‘Chubbziano’ EP on it (pictured below). I was very impressed, as we got to have the EP exclusively two days before it's release. (Great packaging).

via oyinkanadeshoye's instagram

Upon walking into the cinema downstairs of the Soho Sanctum Hotel in Soho, west London - I honestly did not know what I'd expect to see or hear. I bumped into the DJ of the night, DJ Olu, who's a good associate of mine and the official DJ for HKN artist - Davido. I stepped foot into the cinema - it had dimmed lights with a projector placed where the stage was showing the EP cover (pictured above). All the chairs had been removed and there was plenty of space. People were seen hoarded by the bar (doing God knows what, cos they weren't buying drinks or drinking).

I went straight to the back of the cinema to in front of where the DJ was located and chilled with my girl Oyinkan. DJ Olu was playing back to back R&B tunes - I had to compose myself, because I was ready to pop, lock and drop it in more ways than one! Lol

There were mimosa drinks all laid out at the bar - but you could just about notice them because of the amount of people that surrounded it. As time went by - servers came out with mini-burgers on platters - I kindly declined as I had a McDonald's cheeseburger in my bag that I was just waiting to devour and I would have happily pulled it out if that was my normal settings - you know rough and tough. This one was a bit more upper class, higher tier - where the kids all seemed to have known each other. The settings was nice, very sophisticated children and a decent amount of people in the room.

The original time for the showcase to have started was 8.30pm - and surprisingly, I got there on time, and unsurprisingly it didn't start on time. (Mmhmm!)

I'd look at my watch countless number of times, from 8.30pm to 8.55pm to 9.20pm and I was actually getting frustrated - the wait was unbelievable! Finally at 10pm he burst onto the scene and hit the stage rapping lyrics from his song ‘European Wavy Boy’ the intro, which has now become one of my top three favourite songs off the EP. Shane Chubbz went on to perform ‘Tequila’, but due to some technical difficulties - he performed an acoustic version to the song. The night saw Chubbz perform ‘Single Miracles’ featuring the boys of Creative Elevation (CE) - Uzzee and Phlowz, his highly loved song ‘Pockets’, which everyone seemed to have known the words to (but me, I felt so frigging left out).

On a lighter note despite the night starting late, it was somewhat worth it. Listening to Shane Chubbz' ‘Chubbziano’ EP since I got my hands on it, I've come to a realization that it's all types of dope, and this boy really has a good team behind him. It only has 7 songs, all of which I heard that night. And of course I've got my top favourite three off the EP ‘European Wavy Boy’, ‘Singing Miracles’ and ‘Monday Night Rule’ ft. Teezee (DRB LasGidi). Shane Chubbz is very much talented, I look forward to where his musical career takes him.. (Off topic, Phlowz of CE is very talented!)

New Music: Omarion - You Like It

MMG's R&B crooner - Omarion's new song ‘You Like It’ opens up with a sample of El Debarge's ‘I Like It’, which he moderately carries throughout the rest of the song.

The minute the beat drops - ‘You Like It’ is sure to have you bopping your head, Omarion is giving us somewhat of an old school R&B feel on this new jam.

‘You Like It’ is the first single off Omarion's forthcoming fourth solo studio album ‘Sex Playlist’, due sometime this summer. And a congratulations to Omarion who is expecting his first child, with his girlfriend! Seems as if Omarion and his girl have already been reenacting songs off the sex playlist before it's release!

[Listen]: JoJo - ‘#LoveJo’ Mixtape

JoJo's move to Atlantic Records may be the best one she's made yet (reported here) - because this new mixtape she has put out yesterday is giving me life and then some.

A few weeks ago JoJo signed to Atlantic Records after being a messy situation with a record label for so long - that were holding her from releasing new music. Yesterday, saw the release of a new mixtape from JoJo titled ‘#LoveJo’ and it is amazing!

JoJo covers three of the best songs ever - Anita Baker's ‘Caught Up in The Rapture’, Phil Collins ‘Take Me Home’ and Kathleen Battle's ‘Oh Glory’.

‘Glory’ will make somebody cry and take it to church in the 3 minute 57 seconds that she slayed! She probably even saved a life on that track, and she ain't even know it!

‘#LoveJo’ is available for FREE download, and is a special treat from JoJo to her fans. Let me know what your favourite cover from JoJo is.
