[First Look]: PUMA and Solange Knowles Presents: ‘Girls of Blaze’ Disc Collection Lookbook!

Following the recent announcement of her being named as the art director and creative consultant for PUMA, Solange Knowles took up her title and began to work on PUMA's new collection ‘Girls of Blaze’ disc collection campaign.

‘Girls of Blaze’ has Solange's name written all over it, and of course Solo doesn't hold back either in the promo photo shoots as she delivers bold colours, big hair, a unique style and admirable models.

The collection which is already available online at Opening Ceremony and in stores is the first of many projects from Solange with PUMA. Designed by not only just Solange, but with the help of Hisham Bharoocha, Gerlan Jeans and William Okpo this collection has got to be one of the best collections I've seen PUMA do thus far.

Solange joined forces with New York-based William Okpo, a Nigerian design label owned by sisters Darlene and Lizzy Okpo, Gerlan Marcel of Gerlan Jeans, and Hisham Bharoocha.

The look book was shot by Alan Ferguson sees a range of Brazilian inspired colours - both bright and bold, and beyond any doubt will catch the shoppers eye.

New Video: Solange - Locked in Closets

After slaying with her outfit at the Met Gala's Solange drops this new mini video to "Locked in Closets" off her True EP. Solange is seen in Brooklyn, New York as she takes us on a journey in this new colourful video where she sits outside a pink house, goes bike riding and even boogies down at a party.

Solange looks vibrant and full of life in the colours and clothing she is seen wearing in this video. Knowles also collaborated with Refinery29 and Absolut Tune as part of their "Free Spirits" campaign.

The 45-year-old actress currently plays the leading role of Keisha Greene in VH1's hit scripted TV show 'Single Ladies'. Season three of 'Single Ladies' will hit our screens this year.

Solange's style of fashion and music is very eye-catching. The singer-songwriter-model-DJ covers the spring edition to Fader magazine. After releasing her debut EP 'True' late last year - Solange has been booked for a number of shows and was even honoured by Essence music as 'Black Women in Music'.

Finally! Kandi Buruss is engaged to this handsome fella - Todd Tucker - who we see often on the reality show Real Housewives of Atlanta! Both Kandi and Todd sat down with Sister 2 Sister magazine for the cover story and feature. Kandi who is due to get married soon, has kept it no secret that she wants to get a pre-nup and claims that Todd is not on opportunist. Hmm.. I wonder what bought that up. Black Cab Sessions: Solange Sings 'Bad Girls' with Dev Hynes

Don't sleep on Solange now!
Whilst she was on tour in the UK - Solange stopped by 'Black Cab Sessions' where she saaaang her single 'Bad Girls' with guitarist Dev Hynes.

And let me say that Solange put a whole lot of soul into her session as well. I definitely enjoyed listening to her voice in this session. I like this side of Solange.

New Music: Solange - Lovers In The Parking Lot

Off her upcoming EP True, singer Solange has released a brand new song "Lovers In The Parking Lot". Solange's EP will be released under - Terrible Records and is already up for pre-order on iTunes. The new EP features Solange's hit song "Losing You"; which is a favourite in everyone's books as well as 6 other new songs!

So they say! But Nene Leakes proves that for us on the cover of Ebony magazines "Power 100" issue covered in diamonds. Very rich! As Nene would say. Naming the most 100 powerful black people in the year 2012. The list includes: Lebron James, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Karen Civil, Barack Obama and so on.

This girl is on fireeeeeee!! Alicia Keys graces the cover of Billboard magazine, hopefully she'll hit their charts once her album Girl on Fire drops on the 27th November.

Glowing in gold! Gabby Douglas is honoured in Essence magazine's "Women Of The Year!" issue. The gold medalist who conquered in the London 2012 is looking very happy on the Essence cover.

With an EP dropping by the end of this month of November, snagging DJ gigs, modelling countless number of times for different brands and being Beyonce's sister. Solange is rocking Elle Muliarchyk for Rika Magazine. Solange sure does know how to make an outfit look good, even if it's an ugly one! 

Solange: 'TRUE' EP Cover & Tracklist

After four years of releasing an album Sol-Angel and The Hadley Street Dreams, Solange is ready to release an EP and has released the cover and tracklisting to it.

With the title to the EP TRUE Solange's cover art for the EP is different and plain, as the title of the EP is barely seen. 

Squint your eyes, tilt your laptop or whatever you're on back and you'll just about see it. It worked for me.

The tracklist to TRUE includes her hit single "Losing You" but does not feature "Sleep In The Park" (I love that song!). The 7-track-EP will be released on Terrible Records on the 27th November via Terrible Records. I think the song I'll probably be able to relate to is track number 2 "Some Things Never Seem To Fucking Work". I love the title already. That's ME!

La La who showed me some love on Twitter this past week was spotted in Hollywood filming the third season of her reality show. "La La's Full Court Life" has been doing extremely well and seems to me that the ratings have been going up every episode. Congrats to ma gurl La La for that. And also a BIG congrats to La La for her new role in the movie 'Baggage Claim' as a main character, with other big names such as Paula Patton & Derek Luke. Evelyn Lozada has moved on quite quickly from the domestic violence incident she was involved in with husband, Chad Ochocinco/Johnson.
